As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Risk Management in Arlington, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will collaborate with site teams, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a corporate technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking facilities, building entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, providing directions and escalating access-related concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying designated contacts as required. Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence on site. Minimum Requirements: Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience. Possess 2+ years of security-related experience. Possess supervisory experience. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
