As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Documentation in FAIRFAX, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while helping promote a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, document visitor and contractor activity, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A primarily driving post is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
