Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Coordinator in Arlington, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 04:00 PMTue08:00 AM - 04:00 PMWed08:00 AM - 04:00 PMThur08:00 AM - 04:00 PMFri08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a corporate technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, loading docks, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policy, and report irregular conditions or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel. Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while maintaining professional communication with site stakeholders and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Have at least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience. Have at least two years of security-related experience. Have supervisory experience. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
