Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position ideal for someone who is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Certification is not required to apply; however, the selected candidate must register as a pharmacy technician with the state board of pharmacy as a condition of employment. Based on our client base, being bilingual is a big plus and caters into the strength of what is required for this position. MUST BE PROFICIENT AND HAVE WORKED WITH PRIME RX - MICRO MERCHANT PHARMACY SOFTWARE.

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications
• Accurately count, measure, and label medications
• Enter and update patient information and prescriptions in the pharmacy system
• Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries
• Answer phones and assist customers at the pharmacy counter
• Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies
• Monitor and organize prescription records, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy workspace
• Communicate with insurance providers and physicians' offices as needed
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient questions and concerns
• Follow all state and federal pharmacy laws and safety protocols
• Complete and coordinate LAMP, EQUIPP, and MIRIXA cases

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must register as a pharmacy technician with the applicable state pharmacy board (certification not required, but registration is mandatory)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Basic computer skills; experience with pharmacy software a plus
