KeyResponsibilities Enterandprocessvendorandsubcontractorinvoicesaccuratelyandinatimelymanner Matchinvoicestopurchaseorders,contracts,andreceivingdocumentation Routeinvoicesforapprovalfromprojectmanagersandsupervisors Prepareandassistwithweeklyorbi-weeklycheckruns Maintainorganizeddigitalandphysicalaccountspayablerecords Respondtovendorandsubcontractorinquiriesregardinginvoiceandpaymentstatus Reconcilevendorstatementsandresolvediscrepancieswithsupervisionasneeded Assistwith1099preparationandyear-endreporting Supportmonth-endcloseactivitiesandaudits Followcompanyaccountingproceduresandinternalcontrols Orderandmaintainofficesuppliestoensuresmoothdailyoperations Answerandrouteincomingphonecallsinaprofessionalandcourteousmanner Otherdutiesasassigned Qualifications Highschooldiplomaorequivalentrequired Associatedegreeorcourseworkinaccountingorfinancepreferred,orequivalentworkexperience. 1-2yearsofaccountspayableexperience;constructionindustryexperiencepreferredbutnotrequired Basicunderstandingofaccountingprinciplesandwillingnesstolearnjobcostaccounting Familiaritywithaccountingorconstruction-relatedsoftwareisaplus.
