RETAIL ASSISTANT – The Hut / Hamilton Island Hamilton Island is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join The Hut , our premium surf and resort wear store. Offering a curated range of surfwear, fashion, accessories and lifestyle products from leading Australian and international brands, The Hut is the perfect place for guests to find their island style. You'll predominantly work at The Hut while also having opportunities to support our other retail stores and boutiques across Hamilton Island when required. From providing product and styling advice to processing sales and maintaining beautiful displays, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional customer service while supporting the daily operation of the store. Where you’ll make an impact Welcome and engage customers with friendly, personalised service Assist customers with product selection and styling recommendations Develop strong product knowledge across fashion, surfwear and accessories Process sales accurately through the Point of Sale system Complete daily store opening and closing procedures Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation Replenish merchandise and ensure displays remain fully stocked Assist with inventory management and regular stock counts Support sales opportunities through genuine customer engagement Work across other Hamilton Island retail stores when required Follow company policies, procedures and operational standards What we’re looking for You are friendly, confident and passionate about delivering great customer experiences. You have an interest in fashion, surfwear and lifestyle products, enjoy connecting with people and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
