Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Store Manager to support the daily operations of our store and help deliver outstanding customer service. This role assists the Store Manager in overseeing staff, maintaining merchandising standards, managing inventory, scheduling employees, and ensuring smooth store operations. Key Responsibilities: Assist with opening and closing the store Supervise and support store associates Ensure excellent customer service and store presentation Manage inventory, merchandising, and vendor deliveries Prepare staff schedules and assist with payroll Support cash controls, reporting, and store profitability Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies Required Qualifications: Minimum of three (3) years of proven retail or supervisory experience Availability to work weekends and public holidays Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and POS systems Ability to manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and drive KPIs Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform hands‑on store duties Passion for food, service, and the retail grocery environment Reliable transportation and flexibility to work various shifts Closing date: September 22, 2026 #J-18808-Ljbffr
