Job Description The Department of English and World Languages at Purdue University Northwest (Hammond and Westville, Indiana) anticipates hiring a full-time Lecturer to teach courses in Spanish for the 2026-2027 academic year. The position will focus on beginning and intermediate language courses and will begin on August 17, 2026. Responsibilities Teach five classes per semester. The salary is competitive with similar positions at other regional institutions and includes benefits. Renewal of the position is possible and contingent on enrollment and successful performance reviews. Qualifications Completion of an MA in Spanish or a related field. Minimum of two years’ experience teaching at the college level. Purdue University Northwest is an equal opportunity/equal access university.
