Key Responsibilities

• Learn and assist with the shop's operational, financial, and customer-service functions under management supervision.
• Support telephone, counter, and fleet sales activities while providing professional customer service.
• Prepare estimates and work orders, coordinate parts ordering, and assist with personnel and inventory management.
• Support bay management by prioritizing jobs, monitoring productivity, coordinating workflow, supporting technicians, and helping resolve technical workflow issues.
• Help minimize and resolve customer complaints and assist with cashiering and other front-office Service Writer responsibilities.
• Fill in for Managers during absences and take on supervisory responsibilities as needed to maintain workflow, productivity, and continuity of leadership.
• Help support established sales, operational, customer satisfaction, bay efficiency, technician support, and overall productivity goals.
• Help maintain compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulatory requirements while keeping the shop and waiting room clean, organized, and professional.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant automotive industry experience.
• Must be willing and able to travel between Meineke store locations #4154 and #2385, with occasional travel to store #2384, as needed to support shop operations and management coverage.
• Ability to support front-office customer service, sales, estimating, work-order, and shop operations.
• Ability to learn and assist with parts ordering, inventory management, personnel management, and bay workflow.
• Ability to provide clear direction to the team and assume supervisory responsibilities when needed.
• Willingness to learn company processes, accept coaching, and develop toward a management role.
• Willingness and ability to work the stated schedule, including every Saturday unless otherwise instructed.
• Ability to maintain all certifications represented at the time of hire and keep those certifications current and properly displayed.
