PRN - Family Nurse Practitioner

PRN - Family Nurse Practitioner In a manner consistent and supportive of our values, the Provider is responsible for delivering high quality health care within Fast Pace Health’s scope of services while achieving optimum patient satisfaction. The Provider must work in a team‑oriented environment, be flexible to adapt to new technologies and protocols in a quickly evolving practice setting, respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment, and provide outstanding patient service within the clinic and through various virtual communication channels while maintaining a compassionate and welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth, meeting patient volume goals for tele and in‑patient care. Lead clinic staff in behaviors, actions, and attitudes, providing guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction. Review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications; ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses. Perform duties included on the SCRIBE job description. Deliver excellent patient care through in‑patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations focused on patient‑centric care, safety, cost, and accurate information. Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate daily. Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and Supervising Physicians. Analyze and interpret patients’ histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses. Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests; responsibly prescribe medications and educate patients on continued treatment and care of acute and chronic conditions. Attest and follow clinical practice guidelines by the Office of Medical Affairs. Attend mandatory monthly meetings with Supervising Physicians and E/M training. Perform responsibilities within standard NP protocols. Complete all mandatory compliance training to maintain quality of care. Promote and maintain a respectful culture of employee, employer, and business confidentiality. Communicate regularly within the team to support excellent patient care. Welcome new employees on their first day, facilitate introductions, clinic tours, and overview of clinic processes. Assist new employees with learning activities and completing required training. Support new employee training by providing job shadowing, demonstrations, and coaching opportunities. Perform duties assigned by management. PRN employees required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month; full‑time employees required to work 12‑hour shifts and every other weekend. Ancillary providers required to be on call periodically throughout the year. Education and Experience Requirements Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN). Experience: At least 1–2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice such as urgent care, occupational medical facility, ER or trauma unit, or family medical practice strongly preferred. Current license and DEA must be active and in good standing; DEA required for all providers. DOT certification required for FT and PT providers within 120 days of employment and must be maintained during employment. Provider Levels Level 1: New graduate with up to 1 year of experience as a nurse practitioner. Level 2: Nurse practitioner with over 1 year but less than 5 years of experience. Level 3: Nurse practitioner with over 5 years but less than 10 years of experience. Level 4: Nurse practitioner with over 10 years of experience.
