Project Manager, Operations PMO

OverviewJob PurposeIntercontinental Exchange (ICE) is seeking a highly capable Infrastructure Project Manager to join our Atlanta or Jacksonville office. This individual will work directly with global infrastructure resource team leads to drive the successful delivery of complex technology infrastructure projects. The team is comprised of entrepreneurial, fast-moving, and highly experienced individuals and we are looking for someone with strong people skills that can drive change.ResponsibilitiesPlan, manage and execute delivery of complex technology infrastructure projects across a dynamic global environmentDevelop project work plans specifying goals, staffing, scheduling, risks and contingency plansFacilitate communication across multiple functional organizations, technology, teams, vendors, and financeCreate cross-functional project plans that include scope definition, schedules, stakeholder identification, resourcing, communication plans and risk analysisWork with internal and external customers to manage, set and communicate delivery expectationsTranslate high-level scopes into structured, actionable project schedules; track and adapt plans as environments changeRun outcome-driven meetings with clear agendas, assigned action owners and deadlinesProactively surface issues, risks and decisions to stakeholdersActively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the PMOCoach and support junior team members; this role has a clear pathway into vertical management for the right personKnowledge and ExperienceBachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline preferred)5+ years of professional experience, including 4+ years in a dedicated project management roleProven ability to manage project resources in a fast-paced environmentPrevious experience coaching junior team members or acting in a lead PM capacityTechnical knowledge of data center and infrastructure technologies: working knowledge of networks, servers, databases, end-user equipment, etc.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong project management fundamentals: scheduling, resource planning, risk and issue management, estimatingProficiency with project management and reporting tools (e.g. MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, PPMx or similar)Ability to present confidently to senior and executive audiencesDemonstrated ability to operate independently with ambiguity and drive clarity rather than wait for itComposure and emotional intelligence in high-pressure, multi-stakeholder environmentsExperience in financial services or technology industry is a plusFamiliarity with project management methodologies (e.g. PMBOK, SDLC, Agile/SAFe) and ability to apply the right approach to the project typeFormal PM certification (PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe or equivalent) is a plus#LI-SH3#LI-ONSITE Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
