Social Worker – Eating Disorders Program (Intensive) – Outpatient The Mount Sinai Center of Excellence in Eating and Weight Disorders is a comprehensive research‑clinical‑education program that serves the broader community. The social worker supports the multidisciplinary team by co‑leading adolescent and parent groups and providing psychotherapy. The role also contributes to the Center’s mission of integrating research into all levels of clinical practice and participates in administrative and clinical duties. Responsibilities Co‑lead groups for adolescents and parents. Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy to patients. Integrate research findings into clinical practice. Participate in administrative duties related to the treatment of acutely ill patients. Hours and Schedule Full‑time. Three days per week from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM; remaining days follow standard business hours. Flexibility is available regarding which days are assigned to the later schedule. Qualifications NYS LMSW or LCSW. Experience providing direct clinical care to children, adolescents, adults, and caretakers. Ability to assess needs and coordinate resources within hospital and community networks for effective patient management. Experience with eating and weight disorders preferred. Experience providing individual, group, and family therapy preferred. Excellent verbal, written, collaborative, clinical and organizational skills. LCSW preferred. Compensation The salary range for this role is $88,691 – $101,670.78 annually. Actual salaries depend on experience, education and operational need.
