Company Manager New York City Dance Alliance (NYCDA) has an immediate opening for a Company Manager to join its team of event production professionals. This will be a full-time position ideally for someone with 2-3 years of company manager experience within a theatrical or commercial production company, destination management company (DMC) or related field. NYCDA produces an annual educational Dance Convention National Tour throughout the United States, October through July. Working with NYCDA includes the opportunity to support our not-for-profit component, the NYC Dance Alliance Foundation (NYCDAF). In the last 15 years this foundation has funded and facilitated more than $5M in college scholarships to dancers so that they may continue to pursue their artistic endeavors. NYCDAF produces multiple fundraising events throughout the year which include a dance concert at the Joyce Theater, as well as the annual Chita Rivera Awards. The primary focus of this role will be to arrange travel for our touring team. NYCDA currently produces approximately 35-40 events per year across the United States, with 15-25 people traveling per event. Travel arrangements include round trip airfares, multiple forms of ground transport, hotel room assignments, itinerary management and distribution, and other routine related logistics. Additional duties will include but are not limited to assisting with the planning and execution of our NYC area fundraising events for the NYCDAF, some contract review and venue liaison. Working some nights and weekends will be required as needed to execute our events. Some (but very limited) weekend travel may be required. While some remote work may be requested throughout the year, the job does require a predominantly in-person presence. Our office is located in West New York, NJ and is accessible by multiple mass transit routes and roadways. Salary range for this position is $62,000 to $68,000 yearly and commensurate with experience. The company additionally and routinely provides annual bonuses.
