About Our Client

Our client is a leading construction firm specializing in high quality Commercial, Academic, Life Sciences, and Industrial projects throughout Vermont. They have a full backlog of projects throughout the region and they are looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team. Job Description

The Construction Estimator will be responsible for:

Accurately assessing and estimating the costs associated with Multifamily or Academic Construction projects
Ensuring the projects are efficiently planned and executed
Collaborate closely with Project Management team and other key stakeholders
Analyze project requirements, interpret blueprints, and produce comprehensive estimates that align with client expectations and industry standards
Analyze project specifications and blueprints to determine project requirements and scope
Conduct thorough cost analysis for materials, labor, equipment, and other relevant factors
Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and quotes
Prepare detailed and accurate estimates
Participate in pre-bid meetings

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Estimator will have:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or other related field
5+ years as Construction Estimator in vertical construction or mechanical
Strong proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail
Ability to interpret construction documents and blueprints
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and subcontractors
Strong organizational skills
