Medical Assistant (MA)

to support clinical operations in an outpatient healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on clinical skills, experience with

venipuncture

, and proficiency with

Epic EMR

. Required Qualifications

2+ years of Medical Assistant experience, with at least 1 year of recent outpatient experience. Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program REQUIRED. Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC only REQUIRED. High School Diploma or GED. Current Flu Vaccine REQUIRED. No exemptions or declinations accepted. Venipuncture experience REQUIRED. Epic EMR experience REQUIRED. Strong patient care, communication, and clinical support skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment. Key Responsibilities

Prepare patients for examinations and procedures. Obtain and document patient vital signs and clinical information. Perform

venipuncture and blood/lab specimen collection

according to established protocols. Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and routine clinical procedures. Prepare and maintain examination rooms and clinical supplies. Accurately document patient information and clinical activities in

Epic

. Provide patient education and communicate instructions clearly. Maintain infection control, safety, and patient privacy standards. Support overall patient flow and daily clinic operations. Perform other clinical duties as assigned.
