Orthopedic Surgeon

Presbyterian Medical Group is seeking a Board Eligible / Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon to join their established practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This full-time position involves making professional medical judgments in patient care, with a focus on joint surgeries. Practice Info * Established practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico * Full compliment of surgical partners, advanced practice clinicians, and other orthopedic clinic specialists * Full scope practice with an emphasis in joints (knees and hips) Responsibilities * Execute a variety of joint surgeries, including total joint replacements, arthroscopies, and reconstructive surgeries, ensuring optimal patient outcomes * Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including physical examinations and diagnostic imaging, to develop comprehensive treatment plans for joint-related conditions * Monitor and manage postoperative recovery, providing follow-up care and rehabilitation plans to facilitate a successful recovery and restore joint function * Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists and nursing staff, to coordinate patient care and enhance recovery processes Compensation * Nationally competitive salary with relocation allowance available * CME allowance * Fully paid malpractice insurance Benefits * Robust wellness program, including free access to on-site and community-based gyms, nutrition coaching and classes, wellness challenges and more * Robust, day one effective benefits plan consisting of medical, dental, vision and more * Exceptional retirement plans - 403b retirement savings program with both matching programs and employer contributions * Strongline silent alarm badge * The RESET program, a multi-day immersive retreat designed for clinicians, fostering personal and professional growth Shift & Schedule * A weekly mix of clinic, OR, and call * Call shared within the group Requirements * MD/DO * Board eligible or certified in Orthopedic Surgery * State of New Mexico Medical License
