QC Inspector (Welding & Fabrication)
Pay: $25-35/hr. (based on experience)
Shift: 1st Mon-Fri
Description:
- Cannonball Recruiting is seeking a QC Inspector to ensure high-quality standards for a welding/fabrication shop in York, PA.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in quality control in Welding/Fabrication (CWI is not required)
- Familiarity with structural steel shapes and hardware
- Familiarity with measuring tools and techniques
- Must be to read and interpret blueprints and standard weld symbols
- Experience with welding inspection methods and criteria
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Knowledge of AISC standards is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Inspect fabricated parts and welded assemblies for conformance to blueprints and specs
- Collaborate with the Quality Manager and Shop Foreman to address any quality issue
