QC Inspector (Welding & Fabrication)

Pay: $25-35/hr. (based on experience)

Shift: 1st Mon-Fri

Description:

Cannonball Recruiting is seeking a QC Inspector to ensure high-quality standards for a welding/fabrication shop in York, PA.

Requirements:

Proven experience in quality control in Welding/Fabrication (CWI is not required)
Familiarity with structural steel shapes and hardware
Familiarity with measuring tools and techniques
Must be to read and interpret blueprints and standard weld symbols
Experience with welding inspection methods and criteria
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
Knowledge of AISC standards is a plus

Responsibilities:

Inspect fabricated parts and welded assemblies for conformance to blueprints and specs
Collaborate with the Quality Manager and Shop Foreman to address any quality issue
