REIC Rentals is hiring a safety- and customer-driven Traveling Commercial HVAC Service Technician to serve as a trusted technical expert responsible for keeping our high-performance rental fleet operating at peak efficiency. What You'll Do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC rental equipment in the shop and at customer job sites
• Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
• Provide hands-on customer support and basic equipment operation training
• Document service work thoroughly using modern service management systems
• Travel to customer sites and support seasonal overtime demands
• Maintain a strong safety focus on the road, in the shop, and at customer locations

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of technical experience in HVAC, equipment service, field maintenance, or related work
• Experience with travel-intensive roles, including overnight stays and on-call schedules
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Demonstrated safety-first mindset in shop and field environments
• Clear, professional communication skills with customers and teammates
• EPA Universal Certification and 3-5 years of HVAC/R experience strongly preferred
• Clean driving record and minimum age of 21
• Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites
• Flexibility to handle changing daily priorities and seasonal overtime
