Job Description

The Records Specialist works in a warehouse environment to locate, pull, and move boxes of records and materials. This role involves frequent heavy lifting, physical activity, and the use of basic scanning and material handling processes to support efficient storage, retrieval, and movement of items.

Responsibilities

• Pull boxes of records and materials from designated storage locations in the warehouse.
• Lift, carry, and move boxes and materials, including heavy items, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use scanners to track, identify, and confirm the movement and location of boxes and materials.
• Perform general labor tasks such as loading and unloading boxes from pallets, shelves, or vehicles.
• Support general production and warehouse activities, including picking and preparing items for movement or storage.
• Handle materials carefully to maintain organization, accuracy, and condition of records and boxes.
• Perform frequent squatting, bending, and reaching to access items stored at various heights.
• Assist with basic construction-like or physical tasks related to organizing and maintaining warehouse storage areas.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines for lifting, moving, and handling materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area within the warehouse.

Essential Skills

• Ability to perform heavy lifting and repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Experience or comfort with general labor or warehouse work.
• Ability to pick, pull, and move boxes and materials accurately and efficiently.
• Capability to use basic scanning equipment to track items.
• Willingness and ability to perform frequent squatting, bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Reliability and strong work ethic in a production or warehouse setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in general production, picking, or material handling roles.
• Exposure to construction or other physically demanding work environments.
• Comfort working with minimal formal qualifications or prior training, with a willingness to learn on the job.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
