About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Legal Counsel to join their dynamic and collaborative legal team. The successful candidate will be a key partner to the General Counsel, providing legal support across a wide range of matters, including commercial contracting, real estate development, governance, compliance, and strategic business initiatives. This role is ideal for a seasoned attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adept at solving complex legal issues. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial agreements, supporting development and investment projects, and advising internal business teams on legal and business decisions. The role also involves overseeing legal processes, entity management, and compliance initiatives. Applicants for the Senior Legal Counsel position at the company should hold a Juris Doctor (JD) and be an active member of the California Bar, with approximately 8-10+ years of relevant legal experience. The role requires a professional with a strong background in commercial and corporate law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide practical, risk-balanced advice. Experience in a fast-paced, in-house legal department, particularly in the areas of corporate governance, entity management, and compliance, is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple priorities and be adept at optimizing legal processes.
