BCForward is looking for Provider Enrollment Specialist

Position: Provider Enrollment Specialist

Worksite: Austin, TX 78727

Duration: 5+ months (Possible extension)

Tentative Start date: July 06 th , 2026 – Client is expecting 100% attendance for the first 90 days

Shift: Monday – Friday (Must be available for any 8-hour shift between 7 am and 7 pm. Strict adherence to attendance and performance metrics is required.)

Pay Rate: $22/hour on W2

 

Job Description:

Offering Description:

• Interact professionally with providers and ancillary staff to provide appropriate and timely responses to inquiries and concerns regarding provider enrollment and file maintenance for Medicaid programs.

 

Process Description:

• Process to completion 100 percent of assigned applications and maintenance requests utilizing documented work instructions, daily and meeting minimum daily targets.
• Identify deficiencies to notify providers of incomplete and inaccurate applications, revising existing deficiencies and sending corrections based on QA audits as required.
• Respond to inquiries regarding the status of applications received.

Skills Description :

• Minimum of 6 months of experience enrolling and credentialing healthcare providers.
• Mid to high level computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite of products
• Professional with a minimum 1 year in a customer service and or data entry or related experience

• Commit to ongoing learning to maintain competence in assigned tasks.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Adhere to the Quality Assurance program in order to improve the daily processing of applications and file maintenance transactions with a minimum quality score.
• Makes recommendations to management to improve efficiency and effectiveness of current processes. Maintain strict confidentiality of information and job files as dictated by current HIPAA requirements.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed by daily production inventory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership May research and contact providers via phone to resolve enrollment application deficiencies.
