Summary

Perdue AgriBusiness has an opportunity for an Freight Payables Clerk at our facility located in Salisbury, MD

This position is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support for the Freight Payables Team

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Payment of manual freight carrier invoices
• Printing and sorting of carrier proof of delivery paperwork
• Payment of other miscellaneous invoices
• Assist with the scanning of freight carrier paper work as needed
• Back up the Freight Payables Coordinator

Minimum Education

• High School or equivalent
• Coursework in accounting and business

Experience Requirements

• 1-5 years preferred
• Understanding of standard software applications
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Strong math and communication skills

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

• Normal climate controlled office environment
• Able to communicate on the telephone and use standard office equipment
• Able to move freely throughout the facility
