Job Description Summary:

\n

$25,000 SIGN-ON BONUS & BENEFITS ELIGIBILITY DAY ONE & RELOCATION ASSISTANCE\n
\n
\nExternal applicants and newly licensed internal applicants may be eligible for a $25,000 sign-on bonus with a one-year work commitment for a full-time position. \n
\n
\nPreviously employed applicants who have been gone from the organization more than 90 days may also be eligible. Candidates who live more than 100 miles from the work location may be eligible for relocation assistance up to $13,000.\n
\n
\nThe Neuro Interventional Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Neuro Interventional Radiologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures. The technologist must have knowledge of the X-ray equipment in use, hemodynamic monitoring, cerebral angiogram coiling, avascular malformations, stroke interventions and sterile technique. OhioHealth currently has openings for the Neuro Interventional Radiologic Technologist position at various locations. \n

\n The applicant's location of interest will be discussed during the initial screening process. Depending on location, there may be an on-call requirement for this position.\n

Responsibilities And Duties:

\n

\nRadiologic technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventionalist in specific area as described above in summary for each area. \n
\n
\n10%\n
\nGreets patients upon arrival to department. Checks chart for required data (i.e., informed consent). Reports absences or abnormalities to RN/physician. Explains procedures, gives instructions, and answers patients' questions. Participates in room turnover and transporting of patients.\n
\n

\nAssists Radiation Safety officer in QA of labs and radiation protective apparel on regular basis. Performs tasks using radiation safety principles; checks lead aprons for tears; reports findings and removes inadequate gear from service; maintains accurate records or work with Radiology department to maintain records.\n

\nAs a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties.  \n

Minimum Qualifications:

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association, ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association, LIC - Licensed in Field - State of Ohio\n
