About the Role

The Company is in search of its inaugural Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization in its mission to advance academic excellence and strengthen ties with Israeli researchers. The successful candidate will be a visionary, operational leader with a proven track record in executive management, fundraising, and strategic growth. The CEO will be responsible for the Foundation's strategic vision, operational and philanthropic growth, and will work closely with the Executive Board to ensure strong governance and accountability. This role involves leading fundraising efforts, establishing a strong brand and messaging, and expanding the network through partnerships. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' experience, a clear passion for the Foundation's mission, and the ability to unify and strengthen the organization and its chapters. Key responsibilities for the CEO include strategic leadership, organizational management, fundraising, and donor engagement. The role requires a leader with strong communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to build and manage high-performing teams. The CEO will also be involved in chapter and university engagement, as well as forging strategic partnerships to advance research, education, and academic ties. A background in academic or scientific leadership is essential, and the candidate should be prepared to travel as needed. The position demands a results-oriented individual with an entrepreneurial drive, capable of maintaining financial discipline and ensuring legal and fiscal compliance.
