Electronics & Instrumentation Technician II – BP065 Responsible for installing, maintaining, and calibrating a variety of low‑voltage ( Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level. Education and Experience One year of experience in wastewater process control and instrumentation repair; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. Experience working with 4‑20 mA current loops, pressure calibrators and multimeters is preferred. Job Knowledge and Skills Installing and calibrating electronics and instrumentation; following applicable safety principles. Proficient using pressure calibrators, multimeters, and temperature standards; general knowledge of wastewater treatment plant process; knowledge of electronics and instrumentation equipment used in wastewater process control. Basic mechanical and repair principles; preventative maintenance principles and practices used in process control equipment. Special Requirements At the time of hire must have a Grade I Waste Water Treatment Operator License and a valid driver’s license in good standing.
