Pediatric Cardiac ICU Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Cardiac ICU Registered Nurse for a contract position. This role requires specialized knowledge and experience in pediatric cardiac critical care, as well as proficiency in utilizing the Epic electronic medical record system. The selected candidate will be expected to provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing for pediatric patients in a Cardiac ICU setting.
• Utilize the Epic EMR system for patient documentation and care planning.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, and respond to changes in status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and according to protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Pediatric Cardiac ICU setting.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of practice.
• Epic experience is required.
• Navy blue scrubs are required for this position.

Schedule

This position follows a 7A - 7:30P shift on a 91-week contract basis.
