Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Security Systems Installation Supervisor to lead a team of installers and technicians in the installation and maintenance of security systems. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating with clients to determine project requirements, developing installation plans, and ensuring the successful installation of commercial alarm, AV, IT, CCTV, and Card Access systems.


Key Responsibilities:

- Lead a team of installers and technicians in the installation and maintenance of security systems

- Coordinate with clients to determine project requirements and develop installation plans

- Install commercial alarm, AV, IT, CCTV, and Card Access systems

- Provide reliable, high-quality customer support

- Perform customer instruction on system operation and functionality

- Perform system testing and signal verification

- Maintain necessary truck stock/inventory


- Perform new system installations, upgrades, and additions

- Organize and utilize technical resources, information, material, and support for efficient task execution

- Monitor and ensure progress and completion of assigned tasks

- Complete and submit all required task-related activities, productivity, and documentation in a timely manner

- Must have a strong work ethic and be detail-oriented

- Complete other projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

- High School Diploma/Vocational Training

- Five or more years of experience in security systems installation

- Advanced knowledge of commercial intrusion systems, networking, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems

- Manufacturer certifications preferred

- Advanced knowledge of local/national codes

- Ability to read drawings and pull wires accordingly

- Valid driver's license and ability to clear a drug screening

Certification/Licensing:

- Must obtain and retain any specific product certifications and/or licenses required by national, state, and local codes

Work Environment:

- Exposure to outside weather conditions, risk of electrical shock, and harsh work environments

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand, walk, sit, twist, use hands, reach, push, pull, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear

- Vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color

- Ability to work in unusual and difficult positions/circumstances

- Ability to lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs

- Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule with on-call availability and travel on short notice

- Must be able to drive a motor vehicle for extended periods
