Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the childcare facility, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and compliant environment Recruit, hire, train, and supervise childcare staff and teaching assistants Oversee and implement age-appropriate curriculum and educational programming Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and childcare standards Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, guardians, and the local community Manage facility budget, enrollment, and administrative operations Conduct regular staff evaluations and facilitate ongoing professional development Requirements Childcare Director License Minimum 2–3 years of experience in childcare management or a director-level role Knowledge of Texas childcare licensing requirements and state regulations Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience with curriculum development and early childhood best practices Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to the well-being of children and families About Us Our preschool is a proud member of the Magnolia, TX community, committed to providing exceptional care and enriching early learning experiences for children.
