Production Planner

Position Overview We are looking for a Supply Chain / Production Scheduler to manage daily to monthly production schedules, coordinate resources, and drive execution across multiple cross‑functional teams. Responsibilities Execute and manage daily, weekly and monthly production schedules, ensuring alignment between material and resource availability for Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) horizon. Coordinate with cross‑functional teams: master schedulers, quality, engineering, purchasing, inventory control, program management, and other groups. Identify risks such as shortages, bottlenecks, and disruptions; develop recovery and mitigation plans with cross‑functional teams. Track material availability and production readiness, leveraging capacity data to support production plans. Analyze clear‑to‑build status to release, resequence, and prioritize production orders. Prepare and present key metrics (on‑time starts, COGIs, Clear to Build, exception messages) to leadership. Manage non‑standard flows of materials (pass‑through shipments, shop overload parts, outside processing, etc.). Coordinate with procurement for timely material delivery, conducting shortage reviews and material availability checks. Communicate production slips or impacts that affect sales or delivery commitments. Qualifications University degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years. Experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Production Control, Property Management, Logistics, or Inventory. Preferred SAP knowledge and experience. Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes or software. Strong goal‑setting at a big‑picture level with the ability to influence change at an operational level.
