A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE
Downloading patron 3D print files, setting up the 3D print software, and starting the 3D printer. Helping a teacher determine the best method for putting their school logo on t shirts. Troubleshooting a jammed button maker with a child and their caregiver. Taking equipment reservations over the phone or via the online reservation system. Preparing to teach a sewing class by organizing materials and testing out different stitches.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist and instruct patrons in the use of makerspace equipment and software Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on makerspace equipment Design and lead creative and maker classesQUALIFICATIONS
One year of customer service experience Strong knowledge of computers, Office 365, and the internet High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience Familiarity with and an aptitude to learn creative software, including Adobe Illustrator, TinkerCAD, and Cricut Design Space Familiarity with and an aptitude to learn makerspace equipment, including sewing machines, sublimation, Cricut machines, and heat pressesHOURLY RATE & SCHEDULE
$18.34 - $22.93 per hour Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Every third weekend: Saturday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Sunday, 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.BENEFITS
