RN - Telemetry Nurse – Lafayette, LA

What You’ll Do

Provide expert nursing care to telemetry patients on a 12-hour night shift
Assess patient conditions and develop appropriate care plans using the nursing process
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to arrhythmias promptly and effectively
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care
Adhere to hospital policies, infection control protocols, and safety standards
Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records
Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism

What You Need

Required:
- Current Louisiana RN license
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- 2+ years of relevant clinical nursing experience
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and software applications
- Effective communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
- Certification in a clinical specialty (e.g., CCRN)
