About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate General Counsel with a focus on commercial matters to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key partner in providing strategic and scalable legal solutions, particularly in the areas of contract negotiation and management, and the development of efficient processes to support the company's rapid growth. This role requires a highly organized individual with a strong background in commercial, technology, or IP transactional or regulatory law, and a preference for those with in-house experience in healthcare, medical devices, or digital health. The Associate General Counsel will be responsible for a wide range of legal and business needs, from reviewing and negotiating various agreements to staying abreast of industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance. Applicants must have a JD from an accredited U.S. law school, be licensed in good standing with a state bar, and have at least 7 years of relevant experience. The role demands a team player with excellent communication skills, a growth mindset, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing sound legal advice, managing outside counsel, and being a trusted legal advisor who can effectively mitigate legal risks while supporting the company's mission. Key qualifications include experience with regulatory and contractual issues in the digital health space, such as HIPAA, FDA, FTC, and healthcare compliance, as well as a strong ability to work with business colleagues to achieve commercial goals.
