Associate General Counsel

We are working with a leading US solar module manufacturer experiencing major growth in the US and is tripling their manufacturing capacity to 6 GW. They are dedicated to driving sustainable innovation and providing clean, reliable, and cost-effective solar energy solutions to customers worldwide. The Associate General Counsel will play a key role in supporting executive leadership and commercial operations across a broad range of legal matters. This position will focus heavily on commercial transactions, contract negotiation, and risk management while serving as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a practical, business-oriented attorney capable of managing complex agreements and providing strategic legal guidance in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Draft, negotiate, and manage a broad range of commercial agreements. Provide legal guidance on contracts, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Support commercial and project teams on contract interpretation and enforcement. Manage contractual communications, disputes, claims, and litigation matters. Coordinate with outside counsel and ensure legal compliance across business operations. Maintain contract administration, corporate records, and governance documentation. The ideal candidate will have: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school and an active license to practice law in the US. 4-6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment handling transactional legal matters, including commercial contracts and sales-of-goods transactions. Strong understanding of contract law, commercial negotiations, and risk management principles. Experience supporting business operations across multiple functional areas.
