What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific policies, managing access activities, and supporting security-related procedures for staff, visitors, and vendors in a healthcare location.
• Monitor lobby and reception areas, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access in a courteous and professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Answer phones, provide directions, assist with sign-in processes, and document daily activities, incidents, and security-related concerns according to post guidelines.
• Support a professional front desk presence by observing incoming and outgoing traffic, reporting maintenance or access issues, and following emergency response activities when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
