Join our "swarm" today!Location: Auburn, GA 30011Pay: $18- $22 an hour- Full-timeRequirements Ability to pass a background check and MVR checkValid driver's license and clean driving record At least 1+ year of background and formal experience in lake/pond maintenance, landscaping, commercial mowing, turf management, pesticide applicationAbility to lift to 80 pounds on a routine basisAbility to walk on steep slopes for extended periods of timeAbility to bend and stoop on a continual basisAbility to work outside in all weather conditionsAbility to work around bees, poison ivy, pollen, thorns, and other environmental risks.Must practice safety with chemicals and equipmentMust have good communication skills and the ability to motivate othersMust comply with Dragonfly's policies and proceduresTeam-oriented and aligned with Dragonfly's values: Quality Focus, Takes Ownership, and Growth Oriented.Key ResponsibilitiesReport to the field supervisor Manage the maintenance of lakes and ponds, & other Stormwater Control Measures (SCMs).Mowing, weed-eating, and string trimming slopes and basins of pondsConcrete work, mixing bags of concrete by hand, mixing buckets of groutStabilization includes carrying and rolling out erosion control matting, spreading seed and wheat straw by handLoad and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucks.Perform work in waders and muck bootsCollection of company-owned equipment and tools at the end of the day.May be asked to help in other divisions such as inspection repair as needed.Safe operation and maintenance of the following equipment:Mowers - Stand on, walk behind, VentracEdgers, string trimmers, and chain sawsBackpack blowers and sprayersHand tools such as shovels, picks, rakes, tree chipper, and pruning tools.Benefits & PerksHealth, Dental, Vision insuranceReferral BonusProtective Footwear Bonus401(k) matchingLife insuranceFlexible spending accounts Employee assistance programPaid time offHoliday payPotential Growth PathField supervisorOperations ManagerBranch ManagerDirector of OperationsDragonfly Pond Works is a leading environmental service company specializing in stormwater management.
