Industrial Base Analyst

Position Summary The Industrial Base Analyst coordinates and executes all contract tasks supporting the SAF/AQX Industrial Base Division, helping the Air Force build and sustain a robust, secure, and resilient industrial base. This role leads mergers-and-acquisitions evaluations, tracks industrial base investments, and oversees sustainment and predictive-analytics development for industrial base IT systems. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and execute all tasks spanning industrial base analysis/strategic support and industrial base IT systems/data analytics. Analyze and assess the impact of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures on the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and Air Force programs. Identify and assess supply chain and industrial base vulnerabilities and support Government-led mitigation strategies. Support justification of GOCO industrial plants and draft technical input for Air Force, DoW, and Congressional inquiries on industrial preparedness. Track DIB-focused investments, develop technical roadmaps and market strategies, and support Defense Production Act (Title I and III) implementation analysis. Sustain and enhance data-warehousing tools such as the Defense Industrial Base Company Insights (DIBCI) capability within PMRT, integrating sources like FPDS-NG and SAM.gov. Evaluate and help implement Government-approved AI/ML applications for predictive analytics on supply chain trends, and deliver training on developed tools.
