Environmental Health And Safety Specialist

Responsible for supporting environmental, health, and safety operations with a focus on regulatory documentation, radiation safety programs, licensing support, and administrative coordination.

Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and maintains accurate records and databases.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage documentation, databases, and administrative processes accurately.

Perform technical review of regulatory forms for accuracy and completeness.

Compare and validate information against system records and make necessary corrections.

Track and follow up on missing or deficient documentation.

Submit required forms to regulatory agencies and maintain proper records.

Manage and maintain associated databases and documentation systems.

Support license billing and payment processes including tracking and filing.

Perform administrative tasks related to radiation safety programs.

Enroll and maintain personnel records for safety-related training programs.

Support radiation dosimetry programs including reviewing requests, issuing dosimeters, and maintaining records.

Coordinate shipments and maintain tracking for dosimetry equipment.

Review and process demonstration requests and ensure compliance with state regulations.

Maintain databases and communicate approvals and updates to stakeholders.

Review service reports to determine evaluation requirements and update systems accordingly.

Coordinate with customers and external partners for scheduling and compliance activities.

Create and maintain training documentation.

Support additional administrative and compliance functions as required.

Knowledge of enterprise resource planning systems.

Familiarity with data and workflow automation platforms.

Background in radiation protection.

Regulatory compliance and documentation.

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Science, or a related field.
