Director of HR Operations & Shared Services 6940494 Location: Jackson,WI, US Date Posted: 10-05-2026 Experience: Director Salary: $180,000 - $195,000 per year Job Details We are seeking a Director of HR Operations & Shared Services with strong benefits administration experience and a track record of leading centralized HR services in a manufacturing environment. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution and oversees five direct reports. What you’ll do: Lead corporate HR operations across benefits, payroll, HRIS, talent acquisition, and employee services. Establish HR priorities, service standards, and consistent processes across multiple locations. Oversee benefits administration, open enrollment, employee education, and leave administration. Manage broker and vendor relationships, including RFPs, negotiations, service performance, and renewal support. Optimize HR systems, preferably Paylocity, to improve automation, reporting, data accuracy, and employee self-service. Oversee accurate, timely multi-state payroll and support compliance across HR programs. Guide salaried recruiting, workforce planning, onboarding, and recruiting vendor partnerships. Develop the team, manage budgets, oversee performance and merit cycles, and support HR integration during acquisitions. What you’ll bring: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. At least 10 years of HR experience, including five years focused on corporate benefits and HRIS. Experience leading an HR services function and developing teams. Strong benefits administration expertise, including broker management, vendor selection, RFPs, and negotiation. Experience implementing or improving HRIS platforms; Paylocity strongly preferred. Experience supporting employees across multiple locations and states, ideally within a large or complex manufacturing organization. Strong communication, project management, analytical, and Microsoft 365 skills. Self-funded health plans, California HR requirements, acquisition integration, and SHRM or HRCI certification. Occasional travel to company locations is required.
