About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and operationally focused Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee the daily operations of our healthcare organization. The COO plays a critical role in optimizing clinical and administrative processes, ensuring operational excellence, and driving efficiency across all departments. As a strategic partner to the CEO and senior leadership, the COO will lead cross-functional teams, improve system performance, and support the organization's mission to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee the organization's day-to-day operations, including clinical services, patient flow, and support functions.
• Collaborate with medical and administrative leaders to align operations with organizational goals.
• Implement strategies to improve quality, safety, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
• Monitor performance metrics and develop action plans to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead department heads and service line leaders to achieve operational targets and regulatory compliance.
• Manage resource allocation, staffing, and budgeting for operational departments.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence across all teams.
• Support strategic planning, new service development, and major initiatives in partnership with the CEO.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field required (MHA or MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, preferably within a hospital or integrated health system.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex operational systems and multidisciplinary teams.
• Deep understanding of healthcare regulations, quality improvement, and patient-centered models of care.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and change management abilities.
