Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Acute Care Unit. The ideal candidate will be able to function in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, caring for a variety of patients across different levels of care from med/surg to ICU.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and provide patient care and education.
• Monitor and evaluate patients' conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Perform various procedures including IV starts, Foley catheter placements, EKG monitoring, and wound care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to discuss patient treatments and discharge needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• BLS certification required prior to the end of orientation.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Experience in acute care settings; ICU/Stepdown experience is a plus.
