Kitchen Manager

A vibrant and rapidly expanding hospitality group is seeking a dynamic Kitchen Manager to lead the culinary operations for a premier dining destination in Topeka . This high-volume venue is known for its diverse menu, energetic atmosphere, and unique architectural layout, including an expansive outdoor service area. We are looking for a leader who excels in fast-paced environments and is passionate about building a culture of culinary excellence and operational precision. Key Responsibilities BOH Leadership: Oversee day-to-day operations of a complex, high-volume kitchen across multiple service points. Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse BOH team to uphold rigorous quality and consistency standards. Financial Management: Manage inventory, labor costs, and supply chain partnerships to drive profitability. Operational Excellence: Maintain impeccable health, safety, and sanitation standards. Innovation: Collaborate with leadership on menu enhancements and seasonal features to keep the concept fresh and competitive. Position Requirements Experience: Proven track record as a Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef in a full-service, high-volume environment ($2M+ in Revenue). Leadership: Strong ability to lead a large team and maintain a positive, efficient work culture under pressure. Systems-Oriented: Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on streamlining BOH processes. Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate seamless "front-to-back" house synergy. Flexibility: Ability to work a schedule that reflects the needs of a premier hospitality destination (evenings, weekends, and holidays). Base Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 (commensurate with experience).
