The schedule will be 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM , Monday thru Friday

What You’ll Do – Your Day-to-Day:

Setup Like a Champion

• Configure press brake machines for each job: tools, gauges, angles – you name it.
• Perform test bends and make micro-adjustments to ensure first-piece perfection .
• Interpret blueprints like a pro to bend metal to exact specs – no guesswork, just precision.
• Follow work orders and job travelers to the tee.

Quality is King

• Ensure every piece meets or exceeds quality standards before it moves forward.
• Use calipers, protractors, and sharp eyes to verify every angle, dimension, and tolerance.
• Catch and correct issues like overbends, under bends, or warping before they hit the line.

Keep Things Moving

• Load and position sheet metal onto the press brake (by hand or hoist – whatever it takes).
• Work hand-in-hand with teammates to keep workflow smooth and production humming
• Keep your area clean and dialed in – because clutter slows you down

Maintain & Protect the Tools of the Trade

• Perform routine maintenance: lubricate, inspect tooling, and keep machines in top shape.
• Follow all shop safety protocols – PPE, safe handling, machine safety.
• Report malfunctions immediately – downtime is the enemy of progress.

What You Bring to the Table:

Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training in metal fabrication or machining is a plus.
• 1-3 years operating press brakes or working in metal fabrication.
• CNC brake experience (AMADA, Trumpf, Bystronic, etc.) is a BIG plus .

Technical Skills

• Can read blueprints, shop drawings, and job travelers without breaking a sweat.
• Understand metal behavior and bend allowances – knows how to shape it, not break it.
• Comfortable using measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and protractors.

Soft Skills

• Detail-driven with a sharp focus on quality and consistency.
• Self-motivated and team-minded – you can hustle solo or on the line.
• Problem solver who can think on their feet and adjust on the fly.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable with frequent bending, lifting, and working around loud equipment.
• Thrives in shop with dust, heat, and industrial noise.
