Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a Home Health position requiring 1+ year of home health experience and OASIS proficiency in the Santa Cruz/Watsonville territory.
Details
- Home health setting serving patients in the Santa Cruz/Watsonville territory
- Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
- Patient visits of up to 6 per day with a 1:1 ratio and 30 productivity points standard
- Weekend coverage required if needed
- No on-call requirements
- EMR system used is Home Health MD
Requirements
- Current CA OT license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of home health experience required
- OASIS experience required
- Reliable personal transportation required
Additional Information
- Scheduling system groups clients to minimize drive time, though occasional travel radius may exceed 50 miles
- Timely communication and documentation required
- Documentation tools provided by facility and must be returned upon completion
- Business casual attire or scrubs accepted
- Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
- No parking costs
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
