Maintenance Technician I (12 hour day shift)

Baxter seeks a Maintenance Technician I to support safe and efficient operation of medical device manufacturing equipment at its Marion, North Carolina facility. The role involves hands-on troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs of automated filling and packaging systems on a 12-hour day shift.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair medical device filling and packaging equipment, motors, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks and root cause analysis to maintain equipment operability
- Document all maintenance work in CMMS per Good Documentation Practices and facility procedures
- Respond to unscheduled maintenance requests and trouble calls in a timely manner
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and support plant production as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2+ years maintenance experience on automated manufacturing equipment
- Proficiency with electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and diagnostic tools
- Familiarity with CMMS systems, preferably Maximo
- Knowledge of PLC systems, motor controls, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in controlled environment settings
Compensation: $3,500 sign-on bonus offered
