Auction Event Manager

**Exciting & fast-paced opportunity to assist with the liquidation of model home furniture. Servicing the Seattle, WA region for a FLEXIBLE PER DIEM Position. Great opportunity for applicants looking for SUPPLEMENTAL INCOME!**

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

$20/Hour
+ Flat Fee by Tasks = $50-$200 Pending Task
+ Round-Trip Mileage Reimbursement @ $0.56/Mile
+ Compensable Travel Time @ $11.50/Hour
Estimated Entry Level Compensation = $800-$1K PER AUCTION EVENT

This position will be responsible for managing auction pickups as they occur on WEEKENDS and responsible for the preparation leading up to the auction sale; prep often needs to take place DURING THE WEEK at flexible times to manager's discretion. Auction prep includes capturing detailed descriptions of model home furniture, cataloging, photographing, measuring, tagging, etc. Minor manual labor/the ability to lift or move 25-30lbs to reposition furniture and capture different angles/information often required.

Our events are well organized, online model furniture auctions with weekend auction pickups that will be 100% coordinated and overseen by our Auction Event Manager. Regularly interfacing with winning bidders and managing on-site moving labor/staff required. Note, many auctions occur 1-3 hours from Seattle, WA thus manager must be willing to drive distances to meet position/auction needs. Mandatory for the manager to be open to traveling to other cities locally.

Ideal Candidates should meet the following criteria:

- Very Detail Oriented

-Comfortable on Computers and Learning New Programs

-Use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Share Point, Adobe Required

- 4-year College Degree (or in- progress/comparable professional experience)

- Self-Starter Mindset that takes Initiative

- Managerial and Conflict Resolution Skills

-Customer & Client Service Oriented

- Typing Proficiency and 10-Key Proficiency

- Data Entry

- Ability to Multitask and Work well under Pressure

- Professional Attitude and Appearance

- Must have Reliable Transportation

- Weekend Availability

Hourly + Bonus Compensation x Tasks | Round-Trip Mileage Included | On-the-Job Training
