Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS BLS NIHSS Must-Have: Epic charting experience Patient ratio experience of 6 Description: Seeking a registered nurse for a medical-surgical float pool. The role requires flexibility to float between various units. The daily patient ratios are typically 5 during the day and 6 at night. All candidates must have iCare experience and at least 18 months of medical-surgical experience. Candidates are expected to provide general care in oncology but will not administer chemotherapy. Specialty experience within the last year is required for all units. The facility is a level two trauma center. Floating may be required based on the facility's needs. A supervisory reference is needed for submission. Patients include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Team includes support from various interdisciplinary services. Daily census and other specific metrics are not detailed.
