Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with strong customer service and communication. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts according to post instructions. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas, assisting with visitor screening, badge and/or credential checks, and reporting policy violations or suspicious behavior. Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, following assigned post orders, and communicating clearly with Allied Universal leadership and/or local personnel regarding security-related matters. Minimum Requirements Cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid certification are preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
