CNC Plasma Cutting Machinist — McKeesport, PA
Picture your day starting at 8:00 a.m. You step onto the shop floor, review the next work order, and load material. The torch arcs to life, and you guide precise cuts that turn raw metal into accurate parts. Throughout the shift, you’ll set up CNC equipment, verify dimensions, and keep production moving safely and smoothly. If that sounds like your kind of rhythm, Express Employment Professionals is hiring for our client in McKeesport, PA.
What you’ll do- Operate CNC machinery alongside plasma cutting equipment to meet exact specifications
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to plan each job
- Set up machines, dial in offsets, and adjust settings as needed
- Perform plasma cutting on metal materials with a focus on precision and consistency
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances
- Complete routine maintenance and keep equipment in top working order
- Follow safety protocols and established production procedures
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or Plasma Cutter Operator
- Ability to read and apply technical drawings and blueprints
- Working knowledge of machining and metal fabrication processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable attendance and a solid work ethic
- Capability to lift and work effectively in a manufacturing environment
- Pay: $18–$28 per hour, based on experience
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Employment type: Full-time, day shift with a consistent schedule
