Mobile HVAC Technician

**About** **the** **Role** As a **CBRE** **Mobile** **HVAC** **Technician** , you will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and inspections across a portfolio of 19 retail locations within the Open NE Route 02. This role focuses on maintaining critical HVAC systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation for client facilities. This job is part of the **Engineering** **and** **Technical** **Services** function, which is responsible for providing technical support, preventive maintenance, and repair services for building systems and equipment. The Mobile HVAC Technician will travel between assigned sites and work independently to diagnose issues, complete repairs, and support overall facility performance. The technician will primarily service a fleet of **31** **HVAC** **units** , including **27** **rooftop** **units,** **2** **air** **handlers,** **and** **2** **condensers** , across multiple equipment manufacturers including **Carrier,** **Trane,** **York,** **Rheem,** **Bryant,** **and** **ICP** . There is **no** **mandatory** **overtime** associated with this route. **What** **You'll** **Do** + Performongoingpreventivemaintenance,troubleshooting,andrepairofHVACandmechanicalsystemsacross19assignedretaillocations. + Serviceandmaintainapproximately31HVACunits,including27rooftopunits,2airhandlers,and2condensers. + DiagnoseandrepairequipmentfrommanufacturersincludingCarrier,Trane,York,Rheem,Bryant,andICP. + Reviewassignedworkordersandestimatethelabor,materials,andtimerequiredtocompleterepairs.Manageandtrackworkordercompletion. + Assistwiththeinstallation,replacement,andmodificationofHVACequipmentandbuildingsystems. + Inspectnewandexistinginstallationstoensurecompliancewithbuildingcodes,safetystandards,andclientrequirements. + SupportenergymanagementinitiativesbyensuringallHVACsystemsoperateatmaximumefficiencyandperformance. + Conductroutinesiteinspectionsandidentifymaintenanceconcernsbeforeequipmentfailuresoccur. + Communicateeffectivelywithclients,coworkers,andsupervisorsregardingservicestatus,repairrecommendations,andoperationalconcerns. + Followestablishedsafetyprocedures,companypolicies,andmaintenancebestpracticeswhileworkingindependentlyinthefield. **What** **You'll** **Need** + HighSchoolDiploma,GED,ortradeschooldiplomawith1-2yearsofjob-relatedexperience.Inlieuofadiploma,acombinationofeducationandrelevantexperiencewillbeconsidered. + ValidDriver'sLicenserequired. + **EPA** **Section** **608** **Type** **II** **Certification** **or** **Universal** **EPA** **Certification** **is** **required.** + ExperienceworkingwithcommercialHVACsystems,includingrooftopunits,condensers,andairhandlerspreferred. + Abilitytodiagnose,troubleshoot,repair,andperformpreventivemaintenanceonHVACequipmentfrommultiplemanufacturers. + Meetthephysicalrequirementsofthisrole,includingstooping,standing,walking,climbingladdersandstairs,andlifting/carryingequipmentandmaterialsweighing50poundsormore. + Abilitytofollowestablishedworkroutines,maintenanceprocedures,andsafetystandards. + Strongcommunicationskillswiththeabilitytoexchangestraightforwardinformationandrespondtoclientinquiries. + WorkingknowledgeofMicrosoftOfficeapplications,includingWord,Excel,andOutlook. + Strongorganizationalandtime-managementskillswithaninquisitiveandsolution-orientedmindset. + Basicmathskills,includingtheabilitytocalculatepercentages,measurements,markups,andsimpleformulas. + Abilitytoworkindependently,manageamobileserviceroute,andprioritizemultipleservicerequestseffectively. **Why** **CBRE** When you join CBRE, you become part of the global leader in commercial real estate services and investment that helps businesses and people thrive.
