Primary Patient Population Acutely ill pediatric to adult patients Behavioral Health patient population Primary Skills Utilized/learned Patient Assessments Patient Triage IV insertion, blood draws, Foley catheter insertion Time management, critical thinking, delegating Personnel RN Will Work With Paramedics, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Providers Number Of Beds On Unit 20 beds Awards Or Recognitions The Unit Has Received Acute Stroke Ready MetroHealth offers industry-leading benefits, including tuition reimbursement, professional certification incentives, and medical/dental insurance. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation). Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio Current AHA BLS, ACLS or obtained within 90 days of hire. Current PALS and NRP certifications or obtained within 6 months of hire. Current TNCC certification or obtained within 1 year of hire. Current NIHSS Stroke certification or obtained within 90 days of hire. PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience within the specialty. PRN must possess current certifications upon hire.
